The attempts to revive the Karunakaran factor in Kerala politics and strengthen I - group are in vain. The group meetings are leader centric. But this time is the time for Murali to stage a comeback. He should present himself as a victim of groupism and play the role of an interlocutor for a political consensus. Or he should stage his allegiance to Oommen Chandy. It is strange that the leaders who opposed Muraleedharan's entry are now trying for the same.
